For this sensory, dreamlike campaign, we were asked to evoke nostalgia through sound. The film itself is abstract visual poetry: an ode to the sky and sea. It captures a fragmented, but timeless narrative between two people, drifting between memory and imagination. With such a strong visual impression, our challenge was to find the missing pieces and connect everything with fitting sound design.

To us, the film felt like a photo book, flicking through fleeting, intimate moments. For each of those moments we created distinct islands of sound, giving each sequence its own dreamy sound design. We then tied it together musically, focusing on texture and emotion. To evoke nostalgia, we ran all the audio through guitar pedals, an old cassette recorder, and a vintage tape machine. The result was a warm, worn sonic palette, imperfect, tactile, and deeply human.
