Blending eras, curious melodies guiding Tissot's journey.
For The Gift of Time, Tissot set out to tell its story through a symbolic journey across different eras. The visual narrative unfolds like a train ride, where each compartment represents a distinct chapter in Tissot’s evolution. The challenge: create an original score that navigates this movement through time, capturing the brand’s legacy while connecting with a modern audience.
We approached the project by exploring a spectrum of musical directions. Early sketches ranged from electronic-driven landscapes to orchestral arrangements. The pivotal task was to reflect the changing rooms and moods as the main character explores, at times curious, sometimes overwhelmed by history and innovation. To mirror this narrative complexity, we incorporated a blend of elements with classic, suspenseful motifs, and modern synthesisers that didn't overpower the established heritage. Every transition was mapped to underscore the forward evolution of both the lead character and Tissot's brand story spanning generations.
