About Bugaboo
Bugaboo is a globally renowned Dutch company best known for their innovative strollers and design-driven baby products. Their collections bring together aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship, consistently setting a new standard for mobility.
The Project
For the launch of the New Taupe Collection, Bugaboo asked us to create a bespoke music score and sound design to accompany the campaign visuals. Working in close partnership with visual teams Woodwork and Menno Fokma, we aimed to echo the stunning visuals of the collection by embedding the organic textures of nature right into the sonic palette.
Our Approach
Our process started well beyond the studio. We took the time to venture deep into the Amsterdam forest, gathering a range of natural textures—sand, sticks, and leaves—direct from the environment that inspired the collection.

Back in the studio, we transformed these outdoor samples into percussive layers and snares, weaving them seamlessly into a score built around a single, carefully chosen instrument. This disciplined approach allowed the music to remain direct and focused, resonating with the understated elegance of the New Taupe visuals. Multiple track versions were mixed and mastered for campaign cutdowns, ensuring every iteration maintained the same core feeling and integrity.

Genuine, field-recorded textures bring a depth that connects audiences not just to Bugaboo’s design, but also to the natural inspiration behind it.
