Not many people know that 20% of all diamonds that exist in the luxury segment shine not so bright when it comes to the origin and how they have been mined. But the fact that it's a luxury product to us, doesn't mean that we can't be aware of what we buy. Joe Lawrence made a short abstract animation and asked us if we could strengthen this story with music and sound.
The sound needed to be shiny and beautiful as wel as underlining the ominous side of the story. So after a lot of exploration we worked towards a cinematic soundscape. To incorporate the theme we used this melody in the piano and bass that could be positive and threatening at the same time.
