Marvin Koppejan from WoodWork was working on a passion project about the first moonlanding. Some say the biggest achievement until today. We were talking a lot about this event lately, it’s just bizar that you go on a journey to another planet and you don’t know if you will ever be going back. When 600 million people watched it at the same time, humanity was truly one.
The music is all about dynamic. It takes silence to capture the vacum of space but it takes red glowing audio meters to showcase the rocket’s power. With a touch of eighties arps we really like, and the characteristics of live drums that we recorded ourselves in a empty warehouse, the sonic journey came to live. It’s radiates power and echo’s the sound of bravery.
