The last Formula 1 race of the season always brings thrill and the images of Verstappen's 2021 championship win in Abu Dhabi became nothing short of legendary. We teamed up with Woodwork to work on the key visual campaign for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix of 2022, on the Yas Marina Circuit.
We experimented with the balance between elegance and power, to build up some more excitement to the fast and futuristic visuals. Using racing car sounds as a build up to an energetic beat, the drop feels like an explosion. It took us great effort to commit to regular traffic rules after this project, but luckily no fines were issued.
