Digital vintage for VanMoof+

In 2018, Amsterdam bike brand VanMoof launched a new direction for their business: introducing VanMoof+. A monthly subscription plan allowing anyone to ride a high tech bike for a low tech price.

CHALLENGE

Production company WoodWork asked us if we could make a song, strengthening the marketing campaign of VanMoof and their new bicycle subscription model.

OUTPUT

We strongly believe the video and the combination of vintage sounding elements could be a nice combination and contrast, but it needed an edgy twist to make it work in the context of the video. We recorded some drums, bass, and baritone, and processed them to blend with synths, sound design and of course: the voice-over.
