We were flattered that Nike asked us to work on their newest campaign: a celebration of the Blazer 72. This model is a Nike classic that will be spotlighted this Summer and Autumn. Nike requested a beat driven composition with a human feel to it.
For this campaign and its sound exploration, the creative team of Circus Family Amsterdam & Nike worked closely together with us towards a fitting sound. It had to resonate with both Nike as a brand and the current zeitgeist. We wanted to operate in multiple genres at the same time and embarked on a search for timeless sounds - to match the timeless Blazer image and to find a balance between recognizability, edge, familiarity and equality.
